1 John

2^CMy³⁴⁵⁰ little children,⁵⁰⁴⁰ these things⁵⁰²³ write I¹¹²⁵ unto you,⁵²¹³ that³³⁶³ ➔ ye sin²⁶⁴ not.³³⁶³ And²⁵³² if¹⁴³⁷ any man⁵¹⁰⁰ sin,²⁶⁴ we have²¹⁹² an advocate³⁸⁷⁵ with⁴³¹⁴ the Father,³⁹⁶² Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ the righteous:¹³⁴²

^2C And²⁵³² he⁸⁴⁶ is²⁰⁷⁶ the propitiation²⁴³⁴ for⁴⁰¹² our²²⁵⁷ sins:²⁶⁶ and¹¹⁶¹ not³⁷⁵⁶ for⁴⁰¹² ours²²⁵¹ only,³⁴⁴⁰ but²³⁵ also²⁵³² for⁴⁰¹² the sins of the whole³⁶⁵⁰ world.²⁸⁸⁹

^3C And²⁵³² hereby^17225129 we do know¹⁰⁹⁷ that³⁷⁵⁴ we know¹⁰⁹⁷ him,⁸⁴⁶ if¹⁴³⁷ we keep⁵⁰⁸³ his⁸⁴⁶ commandments.¹⁷⁸⁵

^4C He that saith,³⁰⁰⁴ I know¹⁰⁹⁷ him,⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² keepeth⁵⁰⁸³ not³³⁶¹ his⁸⁴⁶ commandments,¹⁷⁸⁵ is²⁰⁷⁶ a liar,⁵⁵⁸³ and²⁵³² the truth²²⁵ is²⁰⁷⁶ not³⁷⁵⁶ in¹⁷²² him.⁵¹²⁹

^5C But¹¹⁶¹ whoso³⁷³⁹ keepeth^3025083 his⁸⁴⁶ word,³⁰⁵⁶ in¹⁷²² him⁵¹²⁹ verily²³⁰ is⁵⁰⁴⁸ ➔ the love²⁶ of God²³¹⁶ perfected:⁵⁰⁴⁸ hereby^17225129 know we¹⁰⁹⁷ that³⁷⁵⁴ we are²⁰⁷⁰ in¹⁷²² him.⁸⁴⁶

^6C He that saith³⁰⁰⁴ he abideth³³⁰⁶ in¹⁷²² him⁸⁴⁶ ought³⁷⁸⁴ himself⁸⁴⁶ also²⁵³² so³⁷⁷⁹ to walk,⁴⁰⁴³ even as²⁵³¹ he¹⁵⁶⁵ walked.⁴⁰⁴³

⁷ Brethren,⁸⁰ I write¹¹²⁵ no³⁷⁵⁶ new²⁵³⁷ commandment¹⁷⁸⁵ unto you,⁵²¹³ but²³⁵ an old³⁸²⁰ commandment¹⁷⁸⁵ which³⁷³⁹ ye had²¹⁹² from⁵⁷⁵ the beginning.⁷⁴⁶ The old³⁸²⁰ commandment¹⁷⁸⁵ is²⁰⁷⁶ the word³⁰⁵⁶ which³⁷³⁹ ye have heard¹⁹¹ from⁵⁷⁵ the beginning.⁷⁴⁶

^8C Again,³⁸²⁵ a new²⁵³⁷ commandment¹⁷⁸⁵ I write¹¹²⁵ unto you,⁵²¹³ which thing³⁷³⁹ is²⁰⁷⁶ true²²⁷ in¹⁷²² him⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² in¹⁷²² you:⁵²¹³ because³⁷⁵⁴ the darkness⁴⁶⁵³ is past,³⁸⁵⁵ and²⁵³² the true²²⁸ light⁵⁴⁵⁷ now²²³⁵ shineth.⁵³¹⁶

⁹ He that saith³⁰⁰⁴ he is¹⁵¹¹ in¹⁷²² the light,⁵⁴⁵⁷ and²⁵³² hateth³⁴⁰⁴ his⁸⁴⁶ brother,⁸⁰ is²⁰⁷⁶ in¹⁷²² darkness⁴⁶⁵³ even until²¹⁹³ now.⁷³⁷

^10C He that loveth²⁵ his⁸⁴⁶ brother⁸⁰ abideth³³⁰⁶ in¹⁷²² the light,⁵⁴⁵⁷ and²⁵³² there is²⁰⁷⁶ none³⁷⁵⁶ occasion of stumbling⁴⁶²⁵ in¹⁷²² him.⁸⁴⁶

^11C But¹¹⁶¹ he that hateth³⁴⁰⁴ his⁸⁴⁶ brother⁸⁰ is²⁰⁷⁶ in¹⁷²² darkness,⁴⁶⁵³ and²⁵³² walketh⁴⁰⁴³ in¹⁷²² darkness,⁴⁶⁵³ and²⁵³² knoweth¹⁴⁹² not³⁷⁵⁶ whither⁴²²⁶ he goeth,⁵²¹⁷ because³⁷⁵⁴ that darkness⁴⁶⁵³ hath blinded⁵¹⁸⁶ his⁸⁴⁶ eyes.³⁷⁸⁸

^12C I write¹¹²⁵ unto you,⁵²¹³ little children,⁵⁰⁴⁰ because³⁷⁵⁴ your sins²⁶⁶ are forgiven⁸⁶³ you⁵²¹³ for¹²²³ ➔ his⁸⁴⁶ name's³⁶⁸⁶ sake.¹²²³

^13C I write¹¹²⁵ unto you,⁵²¹³ fathers,³⁹⁶² because³⁷⁵⁴ ye have known¹⁰⁹⁷ him that is from⁵⁷⁵ the beginning.⁷⁴⁶ I write¹¹²⁵ unto you,⁵²¹³ young men,³⁴⁹⁵ because³⁷⁵⁴ ye have overcome³⁵²⁸ the wicked one.⁴¹⁹⁰ I write¹¹²⁵ unto you,⁵²¹³ little children,³⁸¹³ because³⁷⁵⁴ ye have known¹⁰⁹⁷ the Father.³⁹⁶²

^14C I have written¹¹²⁵ unto you,⁵²¹³ fathers,³⁹⁶² because³⁷⁵⁴ ye have known¹⁰⁹⁷ him that is from⁵⁷⁵ the beginning.⁷⁴⁶ I have written¹¹²⁵ unto you,⁵²¹³ young men,³⁴⁹⁵ because³⁷⁵⁴ ye are²⁰⁷⁵ strong,²⁴⁷⁸ and²⁵³² the word³⁰⁵⁶ of God²³¹⁶ abideth³³⁰⁶ in¹⁷²² you,⁵²¹³ and²⁵³² ye have overcome³⁵²⁸ the wicked one.⁴¹⁹⁰

^15C Love²⁵ not³³⁶¹ the world,²⁸⁸⁹ neither³³⁶⁶ the things that are in¹⁷²² the world.²⁸⁸⁹ If¹⁴³⁷ any man⁵¹⁰⁰ love²⁵ the world,²⁸⁸⁹ the love²⁶ of the Father³⁹⁶² is²⁰⁷⁶ not³⁷⁵⁶ in¹⁷²² him.⁸⁴⁶

^16C For³⁷⁵⁴ all³⁹⁵⁶ that is in¹⁷²² the world,²⁸⁸⁹ the lust¹⁹³⁹ of the flesh,⁴⁵⁶¹ and²⁵³² the lust¹⁹³⁹ of the eyes,³⁷⁸⁸ and²⁵³² the pride²¹² of life,⁹⁷⁹ is²⁰⁷⁶ not³⁷⁵⁶ of¹⁵³⁷ the Father,³⁹⁶² but²³⁵ is²⁰⁷⁶ of¹⁵³⁷ the world.²⁸⁸⁹

^17C And²⁵³² the world²⁸⁸⁹ passeth away,³⁸⁵⁵ and²⁵³² the lust¹⁹³⁹ thereof:⁸⁴⁶ but¹¹⁶¹ he that doeth⁴¹⁶⁰ the will²³⁰⁷ of God²³¹⁶ abideth³³⁰⁶ for¹⁵¹⁹ ever.¹⁶⁵

^18C Little children,³⁸¹³ it is²⁰⁷⁶ the last²⁰⁷⁸ time:⁵⁶¹⁰ and²⁵³² as²⁵³¹ ye have heard¹⁹¹ that³⁷⁵⁴ antichrist⁵⁰⁰ shall come,²⁰⁶⁴ even²⁵³² now³⁵⁶⁸ are there¹⁰⁹⁶ many⁴¹⁸³ antichrists;⁵⁰⁰ whereby³⁶⁰⁶ we know¹⁰⁹⁷ that³⁷⁵⁴ it is²⁰⁷⁶ the last²⁰⁷⁸ time.⁵⁶¹⁰

^19C They went out¹⁸³¹ from¹⁵³⁷ us,²²⁵⁷ but²³⁵ they were²²⁵⁸ not³⁷⁵⁶ of¹⁵³⁷ us;²²⁵⁷ for¹⁰⁶³ if¹⁴⁸⁷ they had been²²⁵⁸ of¹⁵³⁷ us,²²⁵⁷ they would³⁰² no doubt have continued³³⁰⁶ with³³²⁶ us:²²⁵⁷ but²³⁵ they went out, that²⁴⁴³ they might be made manifest⁵³¹⁹ that³⁷⁵⁴ they were¹⁵²⁶ not³⁷⁵⁶ all³⁹⁵⁶ of¹⁵³⁷ us.²²⁵⁷

^20C But²⁵³² ye⁵²¹⁰ have²¹⁹² an unction⁵⁵⁴⁵ from⁵⁷⁵ the Holy One,⁴⁰ and²⁵³² ye know¹⁴⁹² all things.³⁹⁵⁶

²¹ I have¹¹²⁵ ➔ not³⁷⁵⁶ written¹¹²⁵ unto you⁵²¹³ because³⁷⁵⁴ ye know¹⁴⁹² not³⁷⁵⁶ the truth,²²⁵ but²³⁵ because³⁷⁵⁴ ye know¹⁴⁹² it,⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² that³⁷⁵⁴ no^39563756 lie⁵⁵⁷⁹ is²⁰⁷⁶ of¹⁵³⁷ the truth.²²⁵

^22C Who⁵¹⁰¹ is²⁰⁷⁶ a liar⁵⁵⁸³ but¹⁵⁰⁸ he that denieth⁷²⁰ that³⁷⁵⁴ Jesus²⁴²⁴ is^20763756 the Christ?⁵⁵⁴⁷ He³⁷⁷⁸ is²⁰⁷⁶ antichrist,⁵⁰⁰ that denieth⁷²⁰ the Father³⁹⁶² and²⁵³² the Son.⁵²⁰⁷

^23C Whosoever³⁹⁵⁶ denieth⁷²⁰ the Son,⁵²⁰⁷ the same hath²¹⁹² not³⁷⁶¹ the Father:³⁹⁶² (but) he that acknowledgeth³⁶⁷⁰ the Son⁵²⁰⁷ hath²¹⁹² the Father³⁹⁶² also.²⁵³²

^24C Let³³⁰⁶ ➔ that therefore³⁷⁶⁷ abide³³⁰⁶ in¹⁷²² you,⁵²¹³ which³⁷³⁹ ye⁵²¹⁰ have heard¹⁹¹ from⁵⁷⁵ the beginning.⁷⁴⁶ If¹⁴³⁷ that which³⁷³⁹ ye have heard¹⁹¹ from⁵⁷⁵ the beginning⁷⁴⁶ shall remain³³⁰⁶ in¹⁷²² you,⁵²¹³ ye⁵²¹⁰ also²⁵³² shall continue³³⁰⁶ in¹⁷²² the Son,⁵²⁰⁷ and²⁵³² in¹⁷²² the Father.³⁹⁶²

^25C And²⁵³² this³⁷⁷⁸ is²⁰⁷⁶ the promise¹⁸⁶⁰ that³⁷³⁹ he⁸⁴⁶ hath promised¹⁸⁶¹ us,²²⁵⁴ even eternal¹⁶⁶ life.²²²²

^26C These⁵⁰²³ things have I written¹¹²⁵ unto you⁵²¹³ concerning⁴⁰¹² them that seduce⁴¹⁰⁵ you.⁵²⁰⁹

^27C But²⁵³² the anointing⁵⁵⁴⁵ which³⁷³⁹ ye⁵²¹⁰ have received²⁹⁸³ of⁵⁷⁵ him⁸⁴⁶ abideth³³⁰⁶ in¹⁷²² you,⁵²¹³ and²⁵³² ye need^55322192 not³⁷⁵⁶ that²⁴⁴³ any man⁵¹⁰⁰ teach¹³²¹ you:⁵²⁰⁹ but²³⁵ as⁵⁶¹³ the same⁸⁴⁶ anointing⁵⁵⁴⁵ teacheth¹³²¹ you⁵²⁰⁹ of⁴⁰¹² all things,³⁹⁵⁶ and²⁵³² is²⁰⁷⁶ truth,²²⁷ and²⁵³² is²⁰⁷⁶ no³⁷⁵⁶ lie,⁵⁵⁷⁹ and²⁵³² even as²⁵³¹ it hath taught¹³²¹ you,⁵²⁰⁹ ye shall abide³³⁰⁶ in¹⁷²² him.⁸⁴⁶

^28C And²⁵³² now,³⁵⁶⁸ little children,⁵⁰⁴⁰ abide³³⁰⁶ in¹⁷²² him;⁸⁴⁶ that,²⁴⁴³ when³⁷⁵² he shall appear,⁵³¹⁹ we may have²¹⁹² confidence,³⁹⁵⁴ and²⁵³² not³³⁶¹ be ashamed¹⁵³ before⁵⁷⁵ him⁸⁴⁶ at¹⁷²² his⁸⁴⁶ coming.³⁹⁵²

^29C If¹⁴³⁷ ye know¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ he is²⁰⁷⁶ righteous,¹³⁴² ye know¹⁰⁹⁷ that³⁷⁵⁴ every one³⁹⁵⁶ that doeth⁴¹⁶⁰ righteousness¹³⁴³ is born¹⁰⁸⁰ of¹⁵³⁷ him.⁸⁴⁶

3^CBehold,¹⁴⁹² what manner⁴²¹⁷ of love²⁶ the Father³⁹⁶² hath bestowed¹³²⁵ upon us,²²⁵⁴ that²⁴⁴³ we should be called²⁵⁶⁴ the sons⁵⁰⁴³ of God:²³¹⁶ therefore^12235124 the world²⁸⁸⁹ knoweth¹⁰⁹⁷ us²²⁴⁸ not,³⁷⁵⁶ because³⁷⁵⁴ it knew¹⁰⁹⁷ him⁸⁴⁶ not.³⁷⁵⁶

^2C Beloved,²⁷ now³⁵⁶⁸ are we²⁰⁷⁰ the sons⁵⁰⁴³ of God,²³¹⁶ and²⁵³² it doth⁵³¹⁹ ➔ not yet³⁷⁶⁸ appear⁵³¹⁹ what⁵¹⁰¹ we shall be:²⁰⁷¹ but¹¹⁶¹ we know¹⁴⁹² that,³⁷⁵⁴ when¹⁴³⁷ he shall appear,⁵³¹⁹ we shall be²⁰⁷¹ like³⁶⁶⁴ him;⁸⁴⁶ for³⁷⁵⁴ we shall see³⁷⁰⁰ him⁸⁴⁶ as²⁵³¹ he is.²⁰⁷⁶

^3C And²⁵³² every man³⁹⁵⁶ that hath²¹⁹² this⁵⁰²⁶ hope¹⁶⁸⁰ in¹⁹⁰⁹ him⁸⁴⁶ purifieth⁴⁸ himself,¹⁴³⁸ even as²⁵³¹ he¹⁵⁶⁵ is²⁰⁷⁶ pure.⁵³

^4C Whosoever³⁹⁵⁶ committeth⁴¹⁶⁰ sin²⁶⁶ transgresseth⁴⁵⁸ ➔⁴¹⁶⁰ also²⁵³² the law:⁴⁵⁸ for²⁵³² sin²⁶⁶ is²⁰⁷⁶ the transgression of the law.⁴⁵⁸

^5C And²⁵³² ye know¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ he¹⁵⁶⁵ was manifested⁵³¹⁹ to²⁴⁴³ take away¹⁴² our²²⁵⁷ sins;²⁶⁶ and²⁵³² in¹⁷²² him⁸⁴⁶ is²⁰⁷⁶ no³⁷⁵⁶ sin.²⁶⁶

^6C Whosoever³⁹⁵⁶ abideth³³⁰⁶ in¹⁷²² him⁸⁴⁶ sinneth²⁶⁴ not:³⁷⁵⁶ whosoever³⁹⁵⁶ sinneth²⁶⁴ hath³⁷⁰⁸ ➔ not³⁷⁵⁶ seen³⁷⁰⁸ him,⁸⁴⁶ neither³⁷⁶¹ known¹⁰⁹⁷ him.⁸⁴⁶

^7C Little children,⁵⁰⁴⁰ let⁴¹⁰⁵ ➔ no man³³⁶⁷ deceive⁴¹⁰⁵ you:⁵²⁰⁹ he that doeth⁴¹⁶⁰ righteousness¹³⁴³ is²⁰⁷⁶ righteous,¹³⁴² even as²⁵³¹ he¹⁵⁶⁵ is²⁰⁷⁶ righteous.¹³⁴²

^8C He that committeth⁴¹⁶⁰ sin²⁶⁶ is²⁰⁷⁶ of¹⁵³⁷ the devil;¹²²⁸ for³⁷⁵⁴ the devil¹²²⁸ sinneth²⁶⁴ from⁵⁷⁵ the beginning.⁷⁴⁶ For¹⁵¹⁹ this purpose⁵¹²⁴ the Son⁵²⁰⁷ of God²³¹⁶ was manifested,⁵³¹⁹ that²⁴⁴³ he might destroy³⁰⁸⁹ the works²⁰⁴¹ of the devil.¹²²⁸

^9C Whosoever³⁹⁵⁶ is born¹⁰⁸⁰ of¹⁵³⁷ God²³¹⁶ doth⁴¹⁶⁰ not³⁷⁵⁶ commit sin;²⁶⁶ for³⁷⁵⁴ his⁸⁴⁶ seed⁴⁶⁹⁰ remaineth³³⁰⁶ in¹⁷²² him:⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² he cannot^37561410 sin,²⁶⁴ because³⁷⁵⁴ he is born¹⁰⁸⁰ of¹⁵³⁷ God.²³¹⁶

^10C In¹⁷²² this⁵¹²⁹ the children⁵⁰⁴³ of God²³¹⁶ are²⁰⁷⁶ manifest,⁵³¹⁸ and²⁵³² the children⁵⁰⁴³ of the devil:¹²²⁸ whosoever³⁹⁵⁶ doeth⁴¹⁶⁰ not³³⁶¹ righteousness¹³⁴³ is²⁰⁷⁶ not³⁷⁵⁶ of¹⁵³⁷ God,²³¹⁶ neither²⁵³² he that loveth²⁵ not³³⁶¹ his⁸⁴⁶ brother.⁸⁰

^11C For³⁷⁵⁴ this³⁷⁷⁸ is²⁰⁷⁶ the message³¹ that³⁷³⁹ ye heard¹⁹¹ from⁵⁷⁵ the beginning,⁷⁴⁶ that²⁴⁴³ we should love²⁵ one another.²⁴⁰

^12C Not³⁷⁵⁶ as²⁵³¹ Cain,²⁵³⁵ who was²²⁵⁸ of¹⁵³⁷ that wicked one,⁴¹⁹⁰ and²⁵³² slew⁴⁹⁶⁹ his⁸⁴⁶ brother.⁸⁰ And²⁵³² wherefore^54845101 slew⁴⁹⁶⁹ he him?⁸⁴⁶ Because³⁷⁵⁴ his own⁸⁴⁶ works²⁰⁴¹ were²²⁵⁸ evil,⁴¹⁹⁰ and¹¹⁶¹ his⁸⁴⁶ brother's⁸⁰ righteous.¹³⁴²

^13C Marvel²²⁹⁶ not,³³⁶¹ my³⁴⁵⁰ brethren,⁸⁰ if¹⁴⁸⁷ the world²⁸⁸⁹ hate³⁴⁰⁴ you.⁵²⁰⁹

^14C We know¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ we²²⁴⁹ have passed³³²⁷ from¹⁵³⁷ death²²⁸⁸ unto¹⁵¹⁹ life,²²²² because³⁷⁵⁴ we love²⁵ the brethren.⁸⁰ He that loveth²⁵ not³³⁶¹ his brother⁸⁰ abideth³³⁰⁶ in¹⁷²² death.²²⁸⁸

^15C Whosoever³⁹⁵⁶ hateth³⁴⁰⁴ his⁸⁴⁶ brother⁸⁰ is²⁰⁷⁶ a murderer:⁴⁴³ and²⁵³² ye know¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ no^37563956 murderer⁴⁴³ hath²¹⁹² eternal¹⁶⁶ life²²²² abiding³³⁰⁶ in¹⁷²² him.⁸⁴⁶

^16C Hereby^17225129 perceive we¹⁰⁹⁷ the love²⁶ of God, because³⁷⁵⁴ he¹⁵⁶⁵ laid down⁵⁰⁸⁷ his⁸⁴⁶ life⁵⁵⁹⁰ for⁵²²⁸ us:²²⁵⁷ and²⁵³² we²²⁴⁹ ought³⁷⁸⁴ to lay down⁵⁰⁸⁷ our lives⁵⁵⁹⁰ for⁵²²⁸ the brethren.⁸⁰

^17C But¹¹⁶¹ whoso^3739302 hath²¹⁹² this world's²⁸⁸⁹ good,⁹⁷⁹ and²⁵³² seeth²³³⁴ his⁸⁴⁶ brother⁸⁰ have²¹⁹² need,⁵⁵³² and²⁵³² shutteth up²⁸⁰⁸ his⁸⁴⁶ bowels⁴⁶⁹⁸ of compassion from⁵⁷⁵ him,⁸⁴⁶ how⁴⁴⁵⁹ dwelleth³³⁰⁶ the love²⁶ of God²³¹⁶ in¹⁷²² him?⁸⁴⁶

^18C My³⁴⁵⁰ little children,⁵⁰⁴⁰ let us²⁵ ➔ not³³⁶¹ love²⁵ in word,³⁰⁵⁶ neither³³⁶⁶ in tongue;¹¹⁰⁰ but²³⁵ in deed²⁰⁴¹ and²⁵³² in truth.²²⁵

^19C And²⁵³² hereby^17225129 we know¹⁰⁹⁷ that³⁷⁵⁴ we are²⁰⁷⁰ of¹⁵³⁷ the truth,²²⁵ and²⁵³² shall assure³⁹⁸² our²²⁵⁷ hearts²⁵⁸⁸ before¹⁷¹⁵ him.⁸⁴⁶

^20C For³⁷⁵⁴ if¹⁴³⁷ our²²⁵⁷ heart²⁵⁸⁸ condemn us,^26073754 God²³¹⁶ is²⁰⁷⁶ greater³¹⁸⁷ than our²²⁵⁷ heart,²⁵⁸⁸ and²⁵³² knoweth¹⁰⁹⁷ all things.³⁹⁵⁶

^21C Beloved,²⁷ if³³⁶² ➔ our²²⁵⁷ heart²⁵⁸⁸ condemn²⁶⁰⁷ us²²⁵⁷ not,³³⁶² then have we²¹⁹² confidence³⁹⁵⁴ toward⁴³¹⁴ God.²³¹⁶

^22C And²⁵³² whatsoever^37391437 we ask,¹⁵⁴ we receive²⁹⁸³ of³⁸⁴⁴ him,⁸⁴⁶ because³⁷⁵⁴ we keep⁵⁰⁸³ his⁸⁴⁶ commandments,¹⁷⁸⁵ and²⁵³² do⁴¹⁶⁰ those things that are pleasing⁷⁰¹ in his⁸⁴⁶ sight.¹⁷⁹⁹

^23C And²⁵³² this³⁷⁷⁸ is²⁰⁷⁶ his⁸⁴⁶ commandment,¹⁷⁸⁵ That²⁴⁴³ we should believe⁴¹⁰⁰ on the name³⁶⁸⁶ of his⁸⁴⁶ Son⁵²⁰⁷ Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ and²⁵³² love²⁵ one another,²⁴⁰ as²⁵³¹ he gave¹³²⁵ us²²⁵⁴ commandment.¹⁷⁸⁵

^24C And²⁵³² he that keepeth⁵⁰⁸³ his⁸⁴⁶ commandments¹⁷⁸⁵ dwelleth³³⁰⁶ in¹⁷²² him,⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² he⁸⁴⁶ in¹⁷²² him.⁸⁴⁶ And²⁵³² hereby^17225129 we know¹⁰⁹⁷ that³⁷⁵⁴ he abideth³³⁰⁶ in¹⁷²² us,²²⁵⁴ by¹⁵³⁷ the Spirit⁴¹⁵¹ which³⁷³⁹ he hath given¹³²⁵ us.²²⁵⁴

4^CBeloved,²⁷ believe⁴¹⁰⁰ not³³⁶¹ every³⁹⁵⁶ spirit,⁴¹⁵¹ but²³⁵ try¹³⁸¹ the spirits⁴¹⁵¹ whether¹⁴⁸⁷ they are²⁰⁷⁶ of¹⁵³⁷ God:²³¹⁶ because³⁷⁵⁴ many⁴¹⁸³ false prophets⁵⁵⁷⁸ are gone out¹⁸³¹ into¹⁵¹⁹ the world.²⁸⁸⁹

^2C Hereby^172237395129 know ye¹⁰⁹⁷ the Spirit⁴¹⁵¹ of God:²³¹⁶ Every³⁹⁵⁶ spirit⁴¹⁵¹ that confesseth³⁶⁷⁰ that Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ is come²⁰⁶⁴ in¹⁷²² the flesh⁴⁵⁶¹ is²⁰⁷⁶ of¹⁵³⁷ God:²³¹⁶

^3C And²⁵³² every³⁹⁵⁶ spirit⁴¹⁵¹ that³⁷³⁹ confesseth³⁶⁷⁰ not³³⁶¹ that Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ is come²⁰⁶⁴ in¹⁷²² the flesh⁴⁵⁶¹ is²⁰⁷⁶ not³⁷⁵⁶ of¹⁵³⁷ God:²³¹⁶ and²⁵³² this⁵¹²⁴ is²⁰⁷⁶ that spirit of antichrist,⁵⁰⁰ whereof³⁷³⁹ ye have heard¹⁹¹ that³⁷⁵⁴ it should come;²⁰⁶⁴ and even²⁵³² now³⁵⁶⁸ already²²³⁵ is it²⁰⁷⁶ in¹⁷²² the world.²⁸⁸⁹

^4C Ye⁵²¹⁰ are²⁰⁷⁵ of¹⁵³⁷ God,²³¹⁶ little children,⁵⁰⁴⁰ and²⁵³² have overcome³⁵²⁸ them:⁸⁴⁶ because³⁷⁵⁴ greater³¹⁸⁷ is he that is²⁰⁷⁶ in¹⁷²² you,⁵²¹³ than²²²⁸ he that is in¹⁷²² the world.²⁸⁸⁹

^5C They⁸⁴⁶ are¹⁵²⁶ of¹⁵³⁷ the world:²⁸⁸⁹ therefore^12235124 speak they²⁹⁸⁰ of¹⁵³⁷ the world,²⁸⁸⁹ and²⁵³² the world²⁸⁸⁹ heareth¹⁹¹ them.⁸⁴⁶

^6C We²²⁴⁹ are²⁰⁷⁰ of¹⁵³⁷ God:²³¹⁶ he that knoweth¹⁰⁹⁷ God²³¹⁶ heareth¹⁹¹ us;²²⁵⁷ he that³⁷³⁹ is²⁰⁷⁶ not³⁷⁵⁶ of¹⁵³⁷ God²³¹⁶ heareth¹⁹¹ not³⁷⁵⁶ us.²²⁵⁷ Hereby^15375127 know we¹⁰⁹⁷ the spirit⁴¹⁵¹ of truth,²²⁵ and²⁵³² the spirit⁴¹⁵¹ of error.⁴¹⁰⁶

^7C Beloved,²⁷ let us love²⁵ one another:²⁴⁰ for³⁷⁵⁴ love²⁶ is²⁰⁷⁶ of¹⁵³⁷ God;²³¹⁶ and²⁵³² every one³⁹⁵⁶ that loveth²⁵ is born¹⁰⁸⁰ of¹⁵³⁷ God,²³¹⁶ and²⁵³² knoweth¹⁰⁹⁷ God.²³¹⁶

^8C He that loveth²⁵ not³³⁶¹ knoweth¹⁰⁹⁷ not³⁷⁵⁶ God;²³¹⁶ for³⁷⁵⁴ God²³¹⁶ is²⁰⁷⁶ love.²⁶

^9C In¹⁷²² this⁵¹²⁹ was manifested⁵³¹⁹ the love²⁶ of God²³¹⁶ toward¹⁷²² us,²²⁵⁴ because³⁷⁵⁴ that God²³¹⁶ sent⁶⁴⁹ his⁸⁴⁶ only begotten³⁴³⁹ Son⁵²⁰⁷ into¹⁵¹⁹ the world,²⁸⁸⁹ that²⁴⁴³ we might live²¹⁹⁸ through¹²²³ him.⁸⁴⁶

^10C Herein^17225129 is²⁰⁷⁶ love,²⁶ not³⁷⁵⁴ that³⁷⁵⁶ we²²⁴⁹ loved²⁵ God,²³¹⁶ but²³⁵ that³⁷⁵⁴ he⁸⁴⁶ loved²⁵ us,²²⁴⁸ and²⁵³² sent⁶⁴⁹ his⁸⁴⁶ Son⁵²⁰⁷ to be the propitiation²⁴³⁴ for⁴⁰¹² our²²⁵⁷ sins.²⁶⁶

^11C Beloved,²⁷ if¹⁴⁸⁷ God²³¹⁶ so³⁷⁷⁹ loved²⁵ us,²²⁴⁸ we²²⁴⁹ ought³⁷⁸⁴ also²⁵³² to love²⁵ one another.²⁴⁰

^12C No man³⁷⁶² hath seen²³⁰⁰ God²³¹⁶ at any time.⁴⁴⁵⁵ If¹⁴³⁷ we love²⁵ one another,²⁴⁰ God²³¹⁶ dwelleth³³⁰⁶ in¹⁷²² us,²²⁵⁴ and²⁵³² his⁸⁴⁶ love²⁶ is²⁰⁷⁶ perfected⁵⁰⁴⁸ in¹⁷²² us.²²⁵⁴

^13C Hereby^17225129 know we¹⁰⁹⁷ that³⁷⁵⁴ we dwell³³⁰⁶ in¹⁷²² him,⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² he⁸⁴⁶ in¹⁷²² us,²²⁵⁴ because³⁷⁵⁴ he hath given¹³²⁵ us²²⁵⁴ of¹⁵³⁷ his⁸⁴⁶ Spirit.⁴¹⁵¹

^14C And²⁵³² we²²⁴⁹ have seen²³⁰⁰ and²⁵³² do testify³¹⁴⁰ that³⁷⁵⁴ the Father³⁹⁶² sent⁶⁴⁹ the Son⁵²⁰⁷ to be the Saviour⁴⁹⁹⁰ of the world.²⁸⁸⁹

^15C Whosoever^3739302 shall confess³⁶⁷⁰ that³⁷⁵⁴ Jesus²⁴²⁴ is²⁰⁷⁶ the Son⁵²⁰⁷ of God,²³¹⁶ God²³¹⁶ dwelleth³³⁰⁶ in¹⁷²² him,⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² he⁸⁴⁶ in¹⁷²² God.²³¹⁶

^16C And²⁵³² we²²⁴⁹ have known¹⁰⁹⁷ and²⁵³² believed⁴¹⁰⁰ the love²⁶ that³⁷³⁹ God²³¹⁶ hath²¹⁹² to¹⁷²² us.²²⁵⁴ God²³¹⁶ is²⁰⁷⁶ love;²⁶ and²⁵³² he that dwelleth³³⁰⁶ in¹⁷²² love²⁶ dwelleth³³⁰⁶ in¹⁷²² God,²³¹⁶ and²⁵³² God²³¹⁶ in¹⁷²² him.⁸⁴⁶

^17C Herein^17225129 is our^33262257 love²⁶ made perfect,⁵⁰⁴⁸ that²⁴⁴³ we may have²¹⁹² boldness³⁹⁵⁴ in¹⁷²² the day²²⁵⁰ of judgment:²⁹²⁰ because³⁷⁵⁴ as²⁵³¹ he¹⁵⁶⁵ is,²⁰⁷⁶ so²⁵³² are²⁰⁷⁰ we²²⁴⁹ in¹⁷²² this⁵¹²⁹ world.²⁸⁸⁹

^18C There is²⁰⁷⁶ no³⁷⁵⁶ fear⁵⁴⁰¹ in¹⁷²² love;²⁶ but²³⁵ perfect⁵⁰⁴⁶ love²⁶ casteth⁹⁰⁶ out¹⁸⁵⁴ fear:⁵⁴⁰¹ because³⁷⁵⁴ fear⁵⁴⁰¹ hath²¹⁹² torment.^28511161 He that feareth⁵³⁹⁹ is⁵⁰⁴⁸ ➔ not³⁷⁵⁶ made perfect⁵⁰⁴⁸ in¹⁷²² love.²⁶

^19C We²²⁴⁹ love²⁵ him,⁸⁴⁶ because³⁷⁵⁴ he⁸⁴⁶ first⁴⁴¹³ loved²⁵ us.²²⁴⁸

^20C If¹⁴³⁷ a man⁵¹⁰⁰ say,^20363754 I love²⁵ God,²³¹⁶ and²⁵³² hateth³⁴⁰⁴ his⁸⁴⁶ brother,⁸⁰ he is²⁰⁷⁶ a liar:⁵⁵⁸³ for¹⁰⁶³ he that loveth²⁵ not³³⁶¹ his⁸⁴⁶ brother⁸⁰ whom³⁷³⁹ he hath seen,³⁷⁰⁸ how⁴⁴⁵⁹ can¹⁴¹⁰ he love²⁵ God²³¹⁶ whom³⁷³⁹ he hath³⁷⁰⁸ ➔ not³⁷⁵⁶ seen?³⁷⁰⁸

^21C And²⁵³² this⁵⁰²⁶ commandment¹⁷⁸⁵ have we²¹⁹² from⁵⁷⁵ him,⁸⁴⁶ That²⁴⁴³ he who loveth²⁵ God²³¹⁶ love²⁵ his⁸⁴⁶ brother⁸⁰ also.²⁵³²

5^CWhosoever³⁹⁵⁶ believeth⁴¹⁰⁰ that³⁷⁵⁴ Jesus²⁴²⁴ is²⁰⁷⁶ the Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ is born¹⁰⁸⁰ of¹⁵³⁷ God:²³¹⁶ and²⁵³² every one³⁹⁵⁶ that loveth²⁵ him that begat¹⁰⁸⁰ loveth²⁵ him also²⁵³² that is begotten¹⁰⁸⁰ of¹⁵³⁷ him.⁸⁴⁶

^2C By¹⁷²² this⁵¹²⁹ we know¹⁰⁹⁷ that³⁷⁵⁴ we love²⁵ the children⁵⁰⁴³ of God,²³¹⁶ when³⁷⁵² we love²⁵ God,²³¹⁶ and²⁵³² keep⁵⁰⁸³ his⁸⁴⁶ commandments.¹⁷⁸⁵

^3C For¹⁰⁶³ this³⁷⁷⁸ is²⁰⁷⁶ the love²⁶ of God,²³¹⁶ that²⁴⁴³ we keep⁵⁰⁸³ his⁸⁴⁶ commandments:¹⁷⁸⁵ and²⁵³² his⁸⁴⁶ commandments¹⁷⁸⁵ are¹⁵²⁶ not³⁷⁵⁶ grievous.⁹²⁶

^4C For³⁷⁵⁴ whatsoever³⁹⁵⁶ is born¹⁰⁸⁰ of¹⁵³⁷ God²³¹⁶ overcometh³⁵²⁸ the world:²⁸⁸⁹ and²⁵³² this³⁷⁷⁸ is²⁰⁷⁶ the victory³⁵²⁹ that overcometh³⁵²⁸ the world,²⁸⁸⁹ even our²²⁵⁷ faith.⁴¹⁰²

⁵ Who⁵¹⁰¹ is²⁰⁷⁶ he that overcometh³⁵²⁸ the world,²⁸⁸⁹ but¹⁵⁰⁸ he that believeth⁴¹⁰⁰ that³⁷⁵⁴ Jesus²⁴²⁴ is²⁰⁷⁶ the Son⁵²⁰⁷ of God?²³¹⁶

^6C This³⁷⁷⁸ is²⁰⁷⁶ he that came²⁰⁶⁴ by¹²²³ water⁵²⁰⁴ and²⁵³² blood,¹²⁹ even Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ;⁵⁵⁴⁷ not³⁷⁵⁶ by¹⁷²² water⁵²⁰⁴ only,³⁴⁴⁰ but²³⁵ by¹⁷²² water⁵²⁰⁴ and²⁵³² blood.¹²⁹ And²⁵³² it is²⁰⁷⁶ the Spirit⁴¹⁵¹ that beareth witness,³¹⁴⁰ because³⁷⁵⁴ the Spirit⁴¹⁵¹ is²⁰⁷⁶ truth.²²⁵

^7C For³⁷⁵⁴ there are¹⁵²⁶ three⁵¹⁴⁰ that bear record³¹⁴⁰ in¹⁷²² heaven,³⁷⁷² the Father,³⁹⁶² the Word,³⁰⁵⁶ and²⁵³² the Holy⁴⁰ Ghost:⁴¹⁵¹ and²⁵³² these³⁷⁷⁸ three⁵¹⁴⁰ are¹⁵²⁶ one.¹⁵²⁰

^8C And²⁵³² there are¹⁵²⁶ three⁵¹⁴⁰ that bear witness³¹⁴⁰ in¹⁷²² earth,¹⁰⁹³ the Spirit,⁴¹⁵¹ and²⁵³² the water,⁵²⁰⁴ and²⁵³² the blood:¹²⁹ and²⁵³² these three⁵¹⁴⁰ agree¹⁵²⁶ in¹⁵¹⁹ one.¹⁵²⁰

^9C If¹⁴⁸⁷ we receive²⁹⁸³ the witness³¹⁴¹ of men,⁴⁴⁴ the witness³¹⁴¹ of God²³¹⁶ is²⁰⁷⁶ greater:³¹⁸⁷ for³⁷⁵⁴ this³⁷⁷⁸ is²⁰⁷⁶ the witness³¹⁴¹ of God²³¹⁶ which³⁷³⁹ he hath testified³¹⁴⁰ of⁴⁰¹² his⁸⁴⁶ Son.⁵²⁰⁷

^10C He that believeth⁴¹⁰⁰ on¹⁵¹⁹ the Son⁵²⁰⁷ of God²³¹⁶ hath²¹⁹² the witness³¹⁴¹ in¹⁷²² himself:¹⁴³⁸ he that believeth⁴¹⁰⁰ not³³⁶¹ God²³¹⁶ hath made⁴¹⁶⁰ him⁸⁴⁶ a liar;⁵⁵⁸³ because³⁷⁵⁴ he believeth⁴¹⁰⁰ not^37561519 the record³¹⁴¹ that³⁷³⁹ God²³¹⁶ gave³¹⁴⁰ of⁴⁰¹² his⁸⁴⁶ Son.⁵²⁰⁷

^11C And²⁵³² this³⁷⁷⁸ is²⁰⁷⁶ the record,³¹⁴¹ that³⁷⁵⁴ God²³¹⁶ hath given¹³²⁵ to us²²⁵⁴ eternal¹⁶⁶ life,²²²² and²⁵³² this³⁷⁷⁸ life²²²² is²⁰⁷⁶ in¹⁷²² his⁸⁴⁶ Son.⁵²⁰⁷

^12C He that hath²¹⁹² the Son⁵²⁰⁷ hath²¹⁹² life;²²²² and he that hath²¹⁹² not³³⁶¹ the Son⁵²⁰⁷ of God²³¹⁶ hath²¹⁹² not³⁷⁵⁶ life.²²²²

^13C These things⁵⁰²³ have I written¹¹²⁵ unto you⁵²¹³ that believe⁴¹⁰⁰ on¹⁵¹⁹ the name³⁶⁸⁶ of the Son⁵²⁰⁷ of God;²³¹⁶ that²⁴⁴³ ye may know¹⁴⁹² that ye³⁷⁵⁴ have²¹⁹² eternal¹⁶⁶ life,²²²² and²⁵³² that²⁴⁴³ ye may believe⁴¹⁰⁰ on¹⁵¹⁹ the name³⁶⁸⁶ of the Son⁵²⁰⁷ of God.²³¹⁶

^14C And²⁵³² this³⁷⁷⁸ is²⁰⁷⁶ the confidence³⁹⁵⁴ that³⁷³⁹ we have²¹⁹² in⁴³¹⁴ him,⁸⁴⁶ that,³⁷⁵⁴ if¹⁴³⁷ we ask¹⁵⁴ any thing⁵¹⁰⁰ according²⁵⁹⁶ to his⁸⁴⁶ will,²³⁰⁷ he heareth¹⁹¹ us:²²⁵⁷

¹⁵ And²⁵³² if¹⁴³⁷ we know¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ he hear¹⁹¹ us,²²⁵⁷ whatsoever^3739302 we ask,¹⁵⁴ we know¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ we have²¹⁹² the petitions¹⁵⁵ that³⁷³⁹ we desired¹⁵⁴ of³⁸⁴⁴ him.⁸⁴⁶

^16C If¹⁴³⁷ any man⁵¹⁰⁰ see¹⁴⁹² his⁸⁴⁶ brother⁸⁰ sin²⁶⁴ a sin²⁶⁶ which is not³³⁶¹ unto⁴³¹⁴ death,²²⁸⁸ he shall ask,¹⁵⁴ and²⁵³² he shall give¹³²⁵ him⁸⁴⁶ life²²²² for them that sin²⁶⁴ not³³⁶¹ unto⁴³¹⁴ death.²²⁸⁸ There is²⁰⁷⁶ a sin²⁶⁶ unto⁴³¹⁴ death:²²⁸⁸ I do not³⁷⁵⁶ say³⁰⁰⁴ that²⁴⁴³ he shall pray²⁰⁶⁵ for⁴⁰¹² it.¹⁵⁶⁵

^17C All³⁹⁵⁶ unrighteousness⁹³ is²⁰⁷⁶ sin:²⁶⁶ and²⁵³² there is²⁰⁷⁶ a sin²⁶⁶ not³⁷⁵⁶ unto⁴³¹⁴ death.²²⁸⁸

^18C We know¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ whosoever³⁹⁵⁶ is born¹⁰⁸⁰ of¹⁵³⁷ God²³¹⁶ sinneth²⁶⁴ not;³⁷⁵⁶ but²³⁵ he that is begotten¹⁰⁸⁰ of¹⁵³⁷ God²³¹⁶ keepeth⁵⁰⁸³ himself,¹⁴³⁸ and²⁵³² that wicked one⁴¹⁹⁰ toucheth⁶⁸⁰ him⁸⁴⁶ not.³⁷⁵⁶

^19C And we know¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ we are²⁰⁷⁰ of¹⁵³⁷ God,²³¹⁶ and²⁵³² the whole³⁶⁵⁰ world²⁸⁸⁹ lieth²⁷⁴⁹ in¹⁷²² wickedness.⁴¹⁹⁰

²⁰ And¹¹⁶¹ we know¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ the Son⁵²⁰⁷ of God²³¹⁶ is come,²²⁴⁰ and²⁵³² hath given¹³²⁵ us²²⁵⁴ an understanding,¹²⁷¹ that²⁴⁴³ we may know¹⁰⁹⁷ him that is true,²²⁸ and²⁵³² we are²⁰⁷⁰ in¹⁷²² him that is true,²²⁸ even in¹⁷²² his⁸⁴⁶ Son⁵²⁰⁷ Jesus²⁴²⁴ Christ.⁵⁵⁴⁷ This³⁷⁷⁸ is²⁰⁷⁶ the true²²⁸ God,²³¹⁶ and²⁵³² eternal¹⁶⁶ life.²²²²

^21C Little children,⁵⁰⁴⁰ keep⁵⁴⁴² yourselves¹⁴³⁸ from⁵⁷⁵ idols.¹⁴⁹⁷ Amen.²⁸¹
