Colossians

2^CFor¹⁰⁶³ I would²³⁰⁹ that ye⁵²⁰⁹ knew¹⁴⁹² what great²²⁴⁵ conflict⁷³ I have²¹⁹² for⁴⁰¹² you,⁵²¹⁶ and²⁵³² for them at¹⁷²² Laodicea,²⁹⁹³ and²⁵³² for as many as³⁷⁴⁵ have³⁷⁰⁸ not³⁷⁵⁶ seen³⁷⁰⁸ my³⁴⁵⁰ face⁴³⁸³ in¹⁷²² the flesh;

^2C That²⁴⁴³ their⁸⁴⁶ hearts²⁵⁸⁸ might be comforted,³⁸⁷⁰ being knit together⁴⁸²² in¹⁷²² love,²⁶ and²⁵³² unto¹⁵¹⁹ all³⁹⁵⁶ riches⁴¹⁴⁹ of the full assurance⁴¹³⁶ of understanding,⁴⁹⁰⁷ to¹⁵¹⁹ the acknowledgement¹⁹²² of the mystery³⁴⁶⁶ of God,²³¹⁶ and²⁵³² of the Father,³⁹⁶² and²⁵³² of Christ;

^3C In¹⁷²² whom³⁷³⁹ are¹⁵²⁶ hid⁶¹⁴ all³⁹⁵⁶ the treasures²³⁴⁴ of wisdom⁴⁶⁷⁸ and²⁵³² knowledge.

⁴ And¹¹⁶¹ this⁵¹²⁴ I say,³⁰⁰⁴ lest³³⁶³ any man⁵¹⁰⁰ should beguile³⁸⁸⁴ you⁵²⁰⁹ with¹⁷²² enticing words.

⁵ For¹⁰⁶³ though¹⁴⁹⁹ I be absent⁵⁴⁸ in the flesh,⁴⁵⁶¹ yet²³⁵ am I¹⁵¹⁰ with⁴⁸⁶² you⁵²¹³ in the spirit,⁴¹⁵¹ joying⁵⁴⁶³ and²⁵³² beholding⁹⁹¹ your⁵²¹⁶ order,⁵⁰¹⁰ and²⁵³² the stedfastness⁴⁷³³ of your⁵²¹⁶ faith⁴¹⁰² in¹⁵¹⁹ Christ.

^6C As⁵⁶¹³ ye have³⁸⁸⁰ therefore³⁷⁶⁷ received³⁸⁸⁰ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ Jesus²⁴²⁴ the Lord,²⁹⁶² so walk ye⁴⁰⁴³ in¹⁷²² him:

^7C Rooted⁴⁴⁹² and²⁵³² built up²⁰²⁶ in¹⁷²² him,⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² stablished⁹⁵⁰ in¹⁷²² the faith,⁴¹⁰² as²⁵³¹ ye have been taught,¹³²¹ abounding⁴⁰⁵² therein^1722846 with¹⁷²² thanksgiving.

^8C Beware⁹⁹¹ lest³³⁶¹ any man⁵¹⁰⁰ spoil^20714812 you⁵²⁰⁹ through¹²²³ philosophy⁵³⁸⁵ and²⁵³² vain²⁷⁵⁶ deceit,⁵³⁹ after²⁵⁹⁶ the tradition³⁸⁶² of men,⁴⁴⁴ after²⁵⁹⁶ the rudiments⁴⁷⁴⁷ of the world,²⁸⁸⁹ and²⁵³² not³⁷⁵⁶ after²⁵⁹⁶ Christ.

^9C For³⁷⁵⁴ in¹⁷²² him⁸⁴⁶ dwelleth²⁷³⁰ all³⁹⁵⁶ the fulness⁴¹³⁸ of the Godhead²³²⁰ bodily.

^10C And²⁵³² ye are²⁰⁷⁵ complete⁴¹³⁷ in¹⁷²² him,⁸⁴⁶ which³⁷³⁹ is²⁰⁷⁶ the head²⁷⁷⁶ of all³⁹⁵⁶ principality⁷⁴⁶ and²⁵³² power:

¹¹ In¹⁷²² whom³⁷³⁹ also²⁵³² ye are circumcised⁴⁰⁵⁹ with the circumcision⁴⁰⁶¹ made without hands,⁸⁸⁶ in¹⁷²² putting off⁵⁵⁵ the body⁴⁹⁸³ of the sins²⁶⁶ of the flesh⁴⁵⁶¹ by¹⁷²² the circumcision⁴⁰⁶¹ of Christ:

^12C Buried with⁴⁹¹⁶ him⁸⁴⁶ in¹⁷²² baptism,⁹⁰⁸ wherein^17223739 also²⁵³² ye are risen with⁴⁸⁹¹ him through¹²²³ the faith⁴¹⁰² of the operation¹⁷⁵³ of God,²³¹⁶ who³⁵⁸⁸ hath raised¹⁴⁵³ him⁸⁴⁶ from¹⁵³⁷ the dead.

^13C And²⁵³² you,⁵²⁰⁹ being⁵⁶⁰⁷ dead³⁴⁹⁸ in¹⁷²² your sins³⁹⁰⁰ and²⁵³² the uncircumcision²⁰³ of your⁵²¹⁶ flesh,⁴⁵⁶¹ hath he quickened together⁴⁸⁰⁶ with⁴⁸⁶² him,⁸⁴⁶ having forgiven⁵⁴⁸³ you⁵²¹³ all³⁹⁵⁶ trespasses;

^14C Blotting out¹⁸¹³ the handwriting⁵⁴⁹⁸ of ordinances¹³⁷⁸ that was against²⁵⁹⁶ us,²²⁵⁷ which³⁷³⁹ was²²⁵⁸ contrary⁵²²⁷ to us,²²⁵⁴ and²⁵³² took¹⁴² it⁸⁴⁶ out of¹⁵³⁷ the way,³³¹⁹ nailing⁴³³⁸ it⁸⁴⁶ to his cross;

^15C And having spoiled⁵⁵⁴ principalities⁷⁴⁶ and²⁵³² powers,¹⁸⁴⁹ he made a shew of them¹¹⁶⁵ openly,^17223954 triumphing over²³⁵⁸ them⁸⁴⁶ in¹⁷²² it.

^16C Let²⁹¹⁹ no³³⁶¹ man⁵¹⁰⁰ therefore³⁷⁶⁷ judge²⁹¹⁹ you⁵²⁰⁹ in¹⁷²² meat,¹⁰³⁵ or²²²⁸ in¹⁷²² drink,⁴²¹³ or²²²⁸ in¹⁷²² respect³³¹³ of an holyday,¹⁸⁵⁹ or²²²⁸ of the new moon,³⁵⁶¹ or²²²⁸ of the sabbath

^17C Which³⁷³⁹ are²⁰⁷⁶ a shadow⁴⁶³⁹ of things to come;³¹⁹⁵ but¹¹⁶¹ the body⁴⁹⁸³ is of Christ.

^18C Let²⁶⁰³ no man³³⁶⁷ beguile²⁶⁰³ you⁵²⁰⁹ of your reward²⁶⁰³ in¹⁷²² a voluntary²³⁰⁹ humility⁵⁰¹² and²⁵³² worshipping²³⁵⁶ of angels,³² intruding into¹⁶⁸⁷ those things which³⁷³⁹ he hath³⁷⁰⁸ not³³⁶¹ seen,³⁷⁰⁸ vainly¹⁵⁰⁰ puffed up⁵⁴⁴⁸ by⁵²⁵⁹ his⁸⁴⁶ fleshly⁴⁵⁶¹ mind,

^19C And²⁵³² not³⁷⁵⁶ holding²⁹⁰² the Head,²⁷⁷⁶ from¹⁵³⁷ which³⁷³⁹ all³⁹⁵⁶ the body⁴⁹⁸³ by¹²²³ joints⁸⁶⁰ and²⁵³² bands⁴⁸⁸⁶ having nourishment ministered,²⁰²³ and²⁵³² knit together,⁴⁸²² increaseth⁸³⁷ with the increase⁸³⁸ of God.

^20C Wherefore³⁷⁶⁷ if¹⁴⁸⁷ ye be dead⁵⁹⁹ with⁴⁸⁶² Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ from⁵⁷⁵ the rudiments⁴⁷⁴⁷ of the world,²⁸⁸⁹ why,⁵¹⁰¹ as though⁵⁶¹³ living²¹⁹⁸ in¹⁷²² the world,²⁸⁸⁹ are ye subject to ordinances,

^21C (Touch⁶⁸⁰ not;³³⁶¹ taste¹⁰⁸⁹ not;³³⁶⁶ handle²³⁴⁵ not;

²² Which³⁷³⁹ all³⁹⁵⁶ are²⁰⁷⁶ to¹⁵¹⁹ perish⁵³⁵⁶ with the using;)⁶⁷¹ after²⁵⁹⁶ the commandments¹⁷⁷⁸ and²⁵³² doctrines¹³¹⁹ of men?

²³ Which things³⁷⁴⁸ have²¹⁹² indeed³³⁰³ a shew^20763056 of wisdom⁴⁶⁷⁸ in¹⁷²² will worship,¹⁴⁷⁹ and²⁵³² humility,⁵⁰¹² and²⁵³² neglecting⁸⁵⁷ of the body;⁴⁹⁸³ not³⁷⁵⁶ in¹⁷²² any⁵¹⁰⁰ honour⁵⁰⁹² to⁴³¹⁴ the satisfying⁴¹⁴⁰ of the flesh.

3^CIf¹⁴⁸⁷ ye⁴⁸⁹¹ then³⁷⁶⁷ be risen⁴⁸⁹¹ with Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ seek²²¹² those things which are above,⁵⁰⁷ where³⁷⁵⁷ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ sitteth^20762521 on¹⁷²² the right hand¹¹⁸⁸ of God.

^2C Set your affection⁵⁴²⁶ on things above,⁵⁰⁷ not³³⁶¹ on things on¹⁹⁰⁹ the earth.

^3C For¹⁰⁶³ ye are dead,⁵⁹⁹ and²⁵³² your⁵²¹⁶ life²²²² is hid²⁹²⁸ with⁴⁸⁶² Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ in¹⁷²² God.

^4C When³⁷⁵² Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ who is our²²⁵⁷ life,²²²² shall appear,⁵³¹⁹ then⁵¹¹⁹ shall⁵³¹⁹ ye⁵²¹⁰ also²⁵³² appear⁵³¹⁹ with⁴⁸⁶² him⁸⁴⁶ in¹⁷²² glory.

^5C Mortify³⁴⁹⁹ therefore³⁷⁶⁷ your⁵²¹⁶ members³¹⁹⁶ which³⁵⁸⁸ are upon¹⁹⁰⁹ the earth;¹⁰⁹³ fornication,⁴²⁰² uncleanness,¹⁶⁷ inordinate affection,³⁸⁰⁶ evil²⁵⁵⁶ concupiscence,¹⁹³⁹ and²⁵³² covetousness,⁴¹²⁴ which³⁷⁴⁸ is²⁰⁷⁶ idolatry:

^6C For¹²²³ which things' sake³⁷³⁹ the wrath³⁷⁰⁹ of God²³¹⁶ cometh²⁰⁶⁴ on¹⁹⁰⁹ the children⁵²⁰⁷ of disobedience:

⁷ In¹⁷²² the which³⁷³⁹ ye⁵²¹⁰ also²⁵³² walked⁴⁰⁴³ some time,⁴²¹⁸ when³⁷⁵³ ye lived²¹⁹⁸ in¹⁷²² them.

^8C But¹¹⁶¹ now³⁵⁷⁰ ye⁵²¹⁰ also²⁵³² put off⁶⁵⁹ all these;³⁹⁵⁶ anger,³⁷⁰⁹ wrath,²³⁷² malice,²⁵⁴⁹ blasphemy,⁹⁸⁸ filthy communication¹⁴⁸ out of¹⁵³⁷ your⁵²¹⁶ mouth.

^9C Lie⁵⁵⁷⁴ not³³⁶¹ one to another,^1519240 seeing that ye have put off⁵⁵⁴ the old³⁸²⁰ man⁴⁴⁴ with⁴⁸⁶² his⁸⁴⁶ deeds;

^10C And²⁵³² have put on¹⁷⁴⁶ the new³⁵⁰¹ man, which³⁵⁸⁸ is renewed³⁴¹ in¹⁵¹⁹ knowledge¹⁹²² after²⁵⁹⁶ the image of him¹⁵⁰⁴ that created²⁹³⁶ him:

^11C Where³⁶⁹⁹ there is¹⁷⁶² neither³⁷⁵⁶ Greek¹⁶⁷² nor²⁵³² Jew,²⁴⁵³ circumcision⁴⁰⁶¹ nor²⁵³² uncircumcision,²⁰³ Barbarian,⁹¹⁵ Scythian,⁴⁶⁵⁸ bond¹⁴⁰¹ nor free:¹⁶⁵⁸ but²³⁵ Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ is all,³⁹⁵⁶ and²⁵³² in¹⁷²² all.

^12C Put on¹⁷⁴⁶ therefore,³⁷⁶⁷ as⁵⁶¹³ the elect¹⁵⁸⁸ of God,²³¹⁶ holy⁴⁰ and²⁵³² beloved,²⁵ bowels⁴⁶⁹⁸ of mercies,³⁶²⁸ kindness,⁵⁵⁴⁴ humbleness of mind,⁵⁰¹² meekness,⁴²³⁶ longsuffering;

^13C Forbearing⁴³⁰ one another,²⁴⁰ and²⁵³² forgiving⁵⁴⁸³ one another,¹⁴³⁸ if¹⁴³⁷ any man⁵¹⁰⁰ have²¹⁹² a quarrel³⁴³⁷ against⁴³¹⁴ any:⁵¹⁰⁰ even as^25312532 Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ forgave⁵⁴⁸³ you,⁵²¹³ so³⁷⁷⁹ also²⁵³² do ye.

^14C And¹¹⁶¹ above¹⁹⁰⁹ all³⁹⁵⁶ these things⁵¹²⁵ put on charity,²⁶ which³⁷⁴⁸ is²⁰⁷⁶ the bond⁴⁸⁸⁶ of perfectness.

^15C And²⁵³² let¹⁰¹⁸ the peace¹⁵¹⁵ of God²³¹⁶ rule¹⁰¹⁸ in¹⁷²² your⁵²¹⁶ hearts,²⁵⁸⁸ to¹⁵¹⁹ the which³⁷³⁹ also²⁵³² ye are called²⁵⁶⁴ in¹⁷²² one¹⁵²⁰ body;⁴⁹⁸³ and²⁵³² be ye¹⁰⁹⁶ thankful.

^16C Let¹⁷⁷⁴ the word³⁰⁵⁶ of Christ⁵⁵⁴⁷ dwell¹⁷⁷⁴ in¹⁷²² you⁵²¹³ richly⁴¹⁴⁶ in¹⁷²² all³⁹⁵⁶ wisdom;⁴⁶⁷⁸ teaching¹³²¹ and²⁵³² admonishing³⁵⁶⁰ one another¹⁴³⁸ in psalms⁵⁵⁶⁸ and²⁵³² hymns⁵²¹⁵ and²⁵³² spiritual⁴¹⁵² songs,⁵⁶⁰³ singing¹⁰³ with¹⁷²² grace⁵⁴⁸⁵ in¹⁷²² your⁵²¹⁶ hearts²⁵⁸⁸ to the Lord.

^17C And²⁵³² whatsoever^37483956 ye do^3024160 in¹⁷²² word³⁰⁵⁶ or^22281722 deed,²⁰⁴¹ do all³⁹⁵⁶ in¹⁷²² the name³⁶⁸⁶ of the Lord²⁹⁶² Jesus,²⁴²⁴ giving thanks²¹⁶⁸ to God²³¹⁶ and²⁵³² the Father³⁹⁶² by¹²²³ him.

¹⁸ Wives,¹¹³⁵ submit yourselves⁵²⁹³ unto your own²³⁹⁸ husbands,⁴³⁵ as⁵⁶¹³ it is fit⁴³³ in¹⁷²² the Lord.

^19C Husbands,⁴³⁵ love²⁵ your wives,¹¹³⁵ and²⁵³² be⁴⁰⁸⁷ not³³⁶¹ bitter⁴⁰⁸⁷ against⁴³¹⁴ them.

²⁰ Children,⁵⁰⁴³ obey⁵²¹⁹ your parents¹¹¹⁸ in²⁵⁹⁶ all things:³⁹⁵⁶ for¹⁰⁶³ this⁵¹²⁴ is²⁰⁷⁶ well pleasing²¹⁰¹ unto the Lord.

^21C Fathers,³⁹⁶² provoke²⁰⁴² not³³⁶¹ your⁵²¹⁶ children⁵⁰⁴³ to anger, lest³³⁶³ they be discouraged.

^22C Servants,¹⁴⁰¹ obey⁵²¹⁹ in²⁵⁹⁶ all things³⁹⁵⁶ your masters²⁹⁶² according²⁵⁹⁶ to the flesh;⁴⁵⁶¹ not³³⁶¹ with¹⁷²² eyeservice,³⁷⁸⁷ as⁵⁶¹³ menpleasers;⁴⁴¹ but²³⁵ in¹⁷²² singleness⁵⁷² of heart,²⁵⁸⁸ fearing⁵³⁹⁹ God:

^23C And²⁵³² whatsoever^395637481437 ye do,⁴¹⁶⁰ do²⁰³⁸ it heartily,^15375590 as⁵⁶¹³ to the Lord,²⁹⁶² and²⁵³² not³⁷⁵⁶ unto men;

^24C Knowing¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ of⁵⁷⁵ the Lord²⁹⁶² ye shall receive⁶¹⁸ the reward⁴⁶⁹ of the inheritance:²⁸¹⁷ for¹⁰⁶³ ye serve¹³⁹⁸ the Lord²⁹⁶² Christ.

²⁵ But¹¹⁶¹ he that doeth wrong⁹¹ shall receive²⁸⁶⁵ for the wrong⁹¹ which³⁷³⁹ he hath done:⁹¹ and²⁵³² there is²⁰⁷⁶ no³⁷⁵⁶ respect of persons.

4^CMasters,²⁹⁶² give³⁹³⁰ unto your servants¹⁴⁰¹ that which is just¹³⁴² and²⁵³² equal;²⁴⁷¹ knowing¹⁴⁹² that³⁷⁵⁴ ye⁵²¹⁰ also²⁵³² have²¹⁹² a Master²⁹⁶² in¹⁷²² heaven.

^2C Continue⁴³⁴² in prayer,⁴³³⁵ and watch¹¹²⁷ in¹⁷²² the same⁸⁴⁶ with¹⁷²² thanksgiving;

^3C Withal²⁶⁰ praying⁴³³⁶ also²⁵³² for⁴⁰¹² us,²²⁵⁷ that²⁴⁴³ God²³¹⁶ would open⁴⁵⁵ unto us²²⁵⁴ a door²³⁷⁴ of utterance,³⁰⁵⁶ to speak²⁹⁸⁰ the mystery³⁴⁶⁶ of Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ for¹²²³ which³⁷³⁹ I am¹²¹⁰ also²⁵³² in bonds:

⁴ That²⁴⁴³ I may make⁵³¹⁹ it⁸⁴⁶ manifest,⁵³¹⁹ as⁵⁶¹³ I³¹⁶⁵ ought¹¹⁶³ to speak.

^5C Walk⁴⁰⁴³ in¹⁷²² wisdom⁴⁶⁷⁸ toward⁴³¹⁴ them that are without,¹⁸⁵⁴ redeeming¹⁸⁰⁵ the time.

^6C Let your⁵²¹⁶ speech³⁰⁵⁶ be alway³⁸⁴² with¹⁷²² grace,⁵⁴⁸⁵ seasoned⁷⁴¹ with salt,²¹⁷ that ye may know¹⁴⁹² how⁴⁴⁵⁹ ye⁵²⁰⁹ ought¹¹⁶³ to answer⁶¹¹ every¹⁵³⁸ man.

⁷ All³⁹⁵⁶ my¹⁶⁹¹ state²⁵⁹⁶ shall¹¹⁰⁷ Tychicus⁵¹⁹⁰ declare¹¹⁰⁷ unto you,⁵²¹³ who is a beloved²⁷ brother,⁸⁰ and²⁵³² a faithful⁴¹⁰³ minister¹²⁴⁹ and²⁵³² fellowservant⁴⁸⁸⁹ in¹⁷²² the Lord:

⁸ Whom³⁷³⁹ I have sent³⁹⁹² unto⁴³¹⁴ you⁵²⁰⁹ for¹⁵¹⁹ the same⁸⁴⁶ purpose,⁵¹²⁴ that²⁴⁴³ he might know¹⁰⁹⁷ your⁵²¹⁶ estate,⁴⁰¹² and²⁵³² comfort³⁸⁷⁰ your⁵²¹⁶ hearts;

⁹ With⁴⁸⁶² Onesimus,³⁶⁸² a faithful⁴¹⁰³ and²⁵³² beloved²⁷ brother,⁸⁰ who³⁷³⁹ is²⁰⁷⁶ one of¹⁵³⁷ you.⁵²¹⁶ They shall make known¹¹⁰⁷ unto you⁵²¹³ all things³⁹⁵⁶ which³⁵⁸⁸ are done here.

^10C Aristarchus⁷⁰⁸ my³⁴⁵⁰ fellowprisoner⁴⁸⁶⁹ saluteth⁷⁸² you,⁵²⁰⁹ and²⁵³² Marcus,³¹³⁸ sister's son⁴³¹ to Barnabas,⁹²¹ (touching⁴⁰¹² whom³⁷³⁹ ye received²⁹⁸³ commandments:¹⁷⁸⁵ if¹⁴³⁷ he come²⁰⁶⁴ unto⁴³¹⁴ you,⁵²⁰⁹ receive¹²⁰⁹ him;)

¹¹ And²⁵³² Jesus,²⁴²⁴ which³⁵⁸⁸ is called³⁰⁰⁴ Justus,²⁴⁵⁹ who³⁵⁸⁸ are⁵⁶⁰⁷ of¹⁵³⁷ the circumcision.⁴⁰⁶¹ These³⁷⁷⁸ only³⁴⁴¹ are my fellowworkers⁴⁹⁰⁴ unto¹⁵¹⁹ the kingdom⁹³² of God,²³¹⁶ which³⁷⁴⁸ have been¹⁰⁹⁶ a comfort³⁹³¹ unto me.

¹² Epaphras,¹⁸⁸⁹ who is one of¹⁵³⁷ you,⁵²¹⁶ a servant¹⁴⁰¹ of Christ,⁵⁵⁴⁷ saluteth⁷⁸² you,⁵²⁰⁹ always³⁸⁴² labouring fervently⁷⁵ for⁵²²⁸ you⁵²¹⁶ in¹⁷²² prayers,⁴³³⁵ that²⁴⁴³ ye may stand²⁴⁷⁶ perfect⁵⁰⁴⁶ and²⁵³² complete⁴¹³⁷ in¹⁷²² all³⁹⁵⁶ the will²³⁰⁷ of God.

¹³ For¹⁰⁶³ I bear³¹⁴⁰ him⁸⁴⁶ record,³¹⁴⁰ that³⁷⁵⁴ he hath²¹⁹² a great⁴¹⁸³ zeal²²⁰⁵ for⁵²²⁸ you,⁵²¹⁶ and²⁵³² them that are in¹⁷²² Laodicea,²⁹⁹³ and²⁵³² them in¹⁷²² Hierapolis.

¹⁴ Luke,³⁰⁶⁵ the beloved²⁷ physician,²³⁹⁵ and²⁵³² Demas,¹²¹⁴ greet⁷⁸² you.

^15C Salute⁷⁸² the brethren⁸⁰ which are in¹⁷²² Laodicea,²⁹⁹³ and²⁵³² Nymphas,³⁵⁶⁴ and²⁵³² the church¹⁵⁷⁷ which is in²⁵⁹⁶ his⁸⁴⁶ house.

^16C And²⁵³² when³⁷⁵² this epistle¹⁹⁹² is read³¹⁴ among³⁸⁴⁴ you,⁵²¹³ cause⁴¹⁶⁰ that²⁴⁴³ it be read³¹⁴ also²⁵³² in¹⁷²² the church¹⁵⁷⁷ of the Laodiceans;²⁹⁹⁴ and²⁵³² that²⁴⁴³ ye⁵²¹⁰ likewise²⁵³² read³¹⁴ the epistle from¹⁵³⁷ Laodicea.
